Fixed Broadband

The BroadNode™ system is a turn-key solution that can be deployed start to finish in a matter of weeks. This solution utilizes a micro-cell technology that requires CPE's at the customer premise. A typical customer installation takes 1 to 1.5 hours. This system can scale up to 400 megabits of capacity at a gateway. This system can also utilize VoIP for standard phone line replacement.

Typical turn-key costs associated with this deployment architecture range from $6-$15 dollars per household passed. This includes all gateway, hardware, battery backup, installation and planning costs. This also includes mapping data to pre-qualify customer addresses for your marketing purposes.

Municipal Broadband access

Municipal broadband access with DenseNode™ deployment utilizes light pole or utility pole structures. The system has numerous advantages over mesh solutions because of increased frequency re-use and increased channel flexibility. This system does not require customer CPE's as laptop Wi-Fi cards can be used since coverage is ubiquitous. This system can scale up to 400 megabits of capacity at a gateway and deliver 10 megabits to the customer. Whether you need to install a CPE or no depends on how many relays per square mile are deployed.

List Price Infrastructure Cost (Hardware Only)

For metropolitan deployments focusing heavily on mobility product access, 50 repeaters per square mile is recommended. Note that all deployment scenarios above allow local phone replacement options for voice.
